Here's the details:  My daughter was turning into the Citgo gas station on Edwards Lake Road (across the street from Lowe's in Trussville).  She was in a silver Honda Civic 2 door facing toward Highway 11.  A full size pick up truck was in the wrong lane going in the opposite direction and hit her head on.  The force of the impact was so strong that it spun her car and he hit her again in the rear, sending her car spinning into the Citgo station.  The truck took off and she was unable to get a license plate number.

The force of the crash caused the trunk to open and her backpack with her college books flew out, along with some other things.

My daughter just bought the Civic last month.  It was her pride and joy and now it is totaled. Thank God, she was not seriously hurt, but financially we are going to be in a bind.  Please let us know if you witnessed the accident.  Even the smallest clue might help out.
